Voices for the Voiceless
Belgaum Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) was established by a group of individuals who couldn’t ignore the suffering of stray animals on the streets. What started as a series of independent rescue missions has grown into an organized institution that now serves as a haven for hundreds of animals every year. We are registered as a non-profit organization and run entirely on public support and volunteer efforts. Our team comprises veterinary professionals, trained handlers, community workers, and everyday citizens united by a single cause — to bring dignity and care to animals that are often ignored. We have successfully rescued, treated, and rehomed numerous animals over the years, and we continue to expand our outreach to remote and underserved areas.

Belgaum Animal Welfare Association - The best team to connect in case of Animal cruelty, Accidents or any Animal abandoned cases are witnessed. We recently connected with them for an Animal Cruelty as my neighbor spilled hot boiling water on my dog and it was severely injured. I immediately contacted BAWA for help & in no time they reached the spot. They also helped me file an FIR to the heinous act committed by a Human.
